Bunny D'Licious

Queens of the endless beats.

Two aspiring singers — one hip-hop, one dance-pop — with more talent than connections, working their way up from the small-venue circuit of Ybor City, Tampa.

A comedy series. No laugh track. The jokes land or they don't.

Episodes

Season one, in order. Every episode is named after a track on Sugar High.

The girls

Every episode the world hands them something that's either an opportunity or a trap. Bunny reads it one way. D'Licious reads it the other. The episode is the two of them working out whose read is right this time.

Bunny — platinum-blonde locs, denim vest, visitor badge on a black lanyard Bunny

Bunny

Hip-hop. Miami-born, Ybor-based. The planner.

Bunny has already imagined how today goes wrong eleven different ways, which is exactly why she walks in smiling. Her optimism isn't a mood — it's a discipline. She rehearses every conversation before she has it, hides the worry, shares the excitement, and gets them through doors nobody else would try. Her face, unfortunately, has never agreed to the plan.

"Oh! Um, hi."

D'Licious — crimson-and-black locs, teal bandana, gold hoops D'Licious

D'Licious

Dance-pop. Open book. The one who isn't worried.

D'Licious says exactly what she's thinking, at exactly the speed she's thinking it, which is unhurried. She's going to be rich and famous — there is zero doubt in her mind about this — so why run after something that's already on its way? Dry, deadpan, impossible to rattle. If someone says something stupid, she'll make sure they see her see it.

"We'll see."

The world

Ybor City

Brick warehouses, palms, hard Florida sun, and a cluster of small rooms a few blocks from Centro Ybor where two girls with a set list and a dying Celica can still get a 9:30 slot. This is home.

Resonant Records

Ten minutes down the road in Channelside and a whole world of status apart. An indie label with a platinum plaque wall, a purple glow down the hallway, and a boss who happens to have a vinyl record for a head. Nobody remarks on this. Nobody ever will.

The crew

Record Head runs the label and is, improbably, the most grounded man in the building. His twin brother is the attorney. Merisol holds the front desk, Doc Doobie holds the booth, DrNooo holds your hand slightly too long, and Dick Buttons is in a white suit for reasons that are his own.

Sugar High

The album. Ten tracks, and the season's episode titles come straight off it — the show is the record, played in order.

    About

Bunny & D'Licious is an original comedy series made by Rook & Alchemy. It started as a straight laugh-track sitcom parody and dropped the laugh track the first time anyone watched it back — the goal shifted from parody to actual laughs, and the show has stayed there since. The surreal character designs are played completely straight. That's the joke.

Episode 3, Thought You Knew, is a 2026 Chroma Awards entry.

The series is written, performed, and produced with an AI-assisted pipeline, in partnership with Resonant Records. Bunny & D'Licious are a real release act — the songs you hear in the show are theirs.
